PASOI WINDSKATING PORTUGAL

Connection One was born!

2019 we were out in Portugal equally stoked about both windsurfing and longboarding, two passions that filled our days with joy. However, when the winds were light, our windsurfing sessions took a hit. It was during one such period the Idea arised. What if we could combine our two loves? What if we could windsurf... on a longboard?

The traditional approach would be to drill a hole in the longboard, making way for the mast base of the windsurf board. But the thought alone was enough to make any longboarder cringe. Damaging our beloved boards in such a way? No, that wasn't going to do it. It felt wrong, almost sacrilegious.

When we returned to our homeland, Germany, we were determined to make our idea a reality. We got to work on our first prototype, crafting not just an altered longboard but a new tool altogether, designed specifically to harness the wind's power.

I remember the first day we have tried it. We were out in the fields, the wind in our sails, and the longboard under our feet. As we cruised across the landscape, the feeling was simply exhilarating. It was like flying on wheels, a mix of the thrill of speed and the smooth glide of the board.

That's when we realized that we had stumbled onto something special. This was more than just a way to fill the windless hours; it was a sport in its own right. It was windskating. That day, we decided that this incredible experience deserved its very own product.
